Nasal Passages

Well, here I begin on the first rant of fall. I really know that the seasons are changing when I catch my first cold in September. And it's never a 24 hour bug, but a soul-condemning, 6-day flu that makes friends ask to take a 'rain check when you're feeling better.' 

"Oh, everyone is getting what you've got." They say. 

"Yeah, well, do their heads spin? Do they hear the voice of Lucifer himself in their nasal passages? No? Well, I guess they don't have my 'bug'...

Good day then."
